please dont let me get salmonella

So apparently they are recalling Peter Pan and Great value brands of peanut butter. There is a salmonella outbreak all over the country assumed to be a result of the peanuts.

The jars with the number on the top starting with '2111' are at risk for contamination.

This is really freaking me out considering we just bought a great value brand jar of peanut butter the last time we were at the store and I ate some two days ago.

My cousin also has a jar, and Joe's parents.

On another....happier....note, we have the bronco. Its almost like riding in a semi. Joe is hogging all the fun by driving it the past few days. ;)

We are also going to get a puppy. A little miniature schnauzer. I think we are going to pick it up tomorrow. I'm nervous. It seems that every pet I get dies on me. Its not that I dont take care of them, I think I just tend to find the sad sickly ones endearing and want to help them. Like my poor chloe. She was a chinese dwarf hamster that someone tried to take back to the pet store because the other hamster didn't like her and bit her tail off! Of course they wouldn't take her back and I over heard while looking around.

Anyway, I hope I'm a good mommy to a perfectly healthy little puppy. I've been reading articles all day about taking care of a puppy, safety tips, and such. Its a big step for Joe and me. I hope we can make her happy.
