Men
I never thought of myself as a man-basher. But recent occurences have led me to believe, try not to believe, believe, give another chance, believe, try one more final time, and believe once again -uncompromisingly- that men are above all just nuisances, and nothing more than complicated and sometimes dangerously hurtful playthings. Screw you if you respond otherwise. Its my freakin journal. I can rant if i want.

Nice to see you think so highly of us. While I do agree for the most part, guys are pretty much don't have a clue on anything, don't completely sell us short. Believe me, there are definitely some good guys out there. As a guy myself, I can tell the good ones from the bad ones, and there are definitely more of the latter unfortunately. Let me drop in my 2 cents here.
Women are simply more evolved, and therefore, more complex than most men. It is hard for a lot of guys to open their minds and think about how they are really acting when around women. We sometimes get so caught up in trying to figure out what girls want, that we forget what kind of person we really are. Too often, guys resort to flashy cars, big houses, or a fake personality, just because they are trying to impress women so much, that they forget who they are completely.
I'm not too sure I agree with the statement about "dangerously hurtful playthings." Seems to me like you are just asking to be hurt if you treat a guy like a plaything. Nobody should deserve that kind of treatment, b/c it only ends up in a sad heart for someone, and there is nothing worse in this world than a sad heart.
As far as guys being nothing more than nuisances, yes sometimes that is true. There are several guys I know, that you know pretty well too, that even drive me nuts because of all the ridiculous/dumb things they say or do.
That is why it really drives me nuts sometimes, is to see so many amazing girls with guys that are such obvious jerks, and then the girls have the audacity to complain about how poorly they are treated to guys out there that are actually good and decent in this world. It doesn't make sense, and for some reason a lot of girls just can't seem to figure out that the right guy is right there in front of them the whole time.
So, just keep in mind that there are guys out there that are kind, decent, and caring. Unfortunately the problem is, they need some help. More girls to come around and really see what they are missing out on, because if they don't, as the saying goes, the good guys finish last. This is sadly becoming more and more true day in and day out, the good guys really are finishing last because girls are often too blinded by all the problems that they have with the bad guys, that they can't focus on the good ones.
Again, yes a lot of guys are jerks, I will give you that. But, for every girl out there complaining about a terrible guy, I promise you there is another great guy waiting for his chance to impress you girls. Just open your eyes, look around, and I promise you that he is there. If you don't, you'll be plagued with guys that are annoying, stupid, immature, and unbearable. Plus, it wouldn't hurt you to give us some credit for the things we do well, and not write us off completely. I think the fact that your highly regarded opinions of us, won't help you out very much.

I wrote that long post. I also agree a lot with what Robin said. There is a lot of truth to that, but there are a lot of guys that unfortunately don't ever mature. Like a lot of the guys that I know, that you would know too.
