Head cold
I'm currently trying to recover from a horrid head cold. Visiting with my soon-to-be nephews a few days ago, we recieved this cold. Joe got it first. Then it passed to me, and i guess it decided to make a home in my head. Joe was over it in a day, its been nearly 3 for me.
*sigh
Its one of those really nasty ones that makes you sneeze, cough, and constantly blow your nose or else have it drip down your face. With as many kleenex tissues there are around the house right now, its a wonder I have that much fluid in my body to sustain life.
For those of you out of the loop:
1. Joe and I moved to a new house (in the country) in between claremore and inola.
2. He got an engineering job in pryor.
3. I'm currently taking a semester off because of the abrupt move.
4. I am miserably sick right now.
5. My sister is getting married to Eric.
The fifth is a big deal to me. I'm happy for her, because for the longest time I was worried about her. She is the type that wears her heart on her sleeve. Which as all of you know isn't the most attractive attribute in a woman. There are very few men comfortable with a girl being MADLY, FOOLISHLY in love with them almost instantly, and she was that type of girl.
But she found a great guy. Hes been through a lot, and is mature enough to handle her. He has two children already, eli and mason, and never been married. This is something that weeds out the less dedicated women, and he found Jenny. Eli-a baby, and Mason-a toddler, are adorable. I'm already so attached. The last visit I had with them I was surprised to find that Eli is already recognizing me. He held out his arms the minute I came in the room.
This is all perfectly fine with Joe, seeing as I am gaagaagooing with Jenny's soon-to-be children, and getting my fill of babys so I dont think about them.
I never thought I would be an aunt before a mother.
God-willing, ill be able to have children as adorable as Eric's and Jenny's.
Joe's at an Engineering conference in Dallas, so If anyone wants to chat to keep me company while im sick, i'll be online most of the time.
